The Moon Followed Us

We had just arrived home from a dinner outing when we saw the golden, full moon in the night sky. My four year-old then exclaimed "Mama, the moon! It followed us!"

Colour in the Sea of Black

When I see some colour in the crowd of uniform adult black on the subway or sidewalk, it brightens up the winter. Everyone, try to add a splash of colour  - scarf, hat, gloves or a coloured backpack. It looks livelier!

Her first words

She said "soup" today as I fed her some.
Soup! You said soup!
With my excitement. she revealed her top tooth with her delighted smile.

The way her face lights up with smiles when I enter the room.
The way her arms come up to greet me.
The way she sits by herself on the mat to play with her toys.

The giggles when I tickle her.
